Actress Jennifer Connelly stars as global spokesperson for a new skin care line.

Shiseido Co., Ltd., which celebrates its 140th anniversary this year, has taken a new marketing tack, signing on a global representative for the first time. The Japan-based beauty manufacturer has named Academy Award-winning actress Jennifer Connelly as global spokesperson and face of Shiseido’s premium skin care line Future Solution LX. Connelly worked with Shiseido more than 20 years ago for one of the company’s makeup brands distributed in Japan. Her first advertising campaign as global spokesperson will appear this fall.
